Very next station after crossing Karnataka-Goa border is Caranzol station. . .
There is no official stop in this station but most of the trains stop here for signal ..Goods train as well as passenger trains . .
From castle rock station Caranzol is 7.29 km.
And from here dudhsagar station is 6.84km.
so,we need to travel further 6.84 km . . .
It was already 1.45 pm when we reached Caranzol ...
Railway gangmen told that "shortly amaravathi exp would arrive,it stops here
for a while,u can get in to that train. . " but we wanted to explore the
mother nature.Hence we refused the offer and proceeded further.
We took bath in the nearby falls and finished our lunch . .(packed lunch from CLR station)

In order to reach Escarpment Viaduct you have to cross
couple of tunnels .. ie,tunnel no. 5 and 6.
Still 5 more tunnels to cross after 6th, in order to
reach Dudhsagaar falls. . .

After crossing 5th tunnel one can observe Escarpment Viaduct. . .
The scenery is just stunning near the viaduct . .
nothing to say . . just enjoyy. . . .
After crossing viaduct you need to walk still 4 odd kms to reach the falls ..
Dudhsagar station located at the marking of 38/100.
Castle rock station located at the marking of 24/500.
That means Dudhsagar station is 13.6km from CastleRock station.
Dudhsagar falls is at the marking of 38/900.
So frm DDS station,DDS falls is still 800 mts(apprx 1km) to go ..
